I REFER to the letter “Why is there no support for recycling?” by Grant Momplé published recently.
Our church, the Auret Street United Church in Paarl, has bins for recycling bottles, tins, paper and cardboard at the back of the church office building.
A truck arrives every week to remove the contents of these bins. So please, if anyone would like to place items in these bins, they may do so (the gates all hours of the week - you can drive up to them.
The church is just below Paarl Boys’ High School next to the Paarl Tourist Information office.
