THE Drakenstein Hospice presents the exhilarating spectacle of twenty-eight singers and dancers in the colourful, vibrating and highly energetic production “Myths and Legends, Music uniting Cultures” with Mike McCullagh at the Grande Roche amphitheatre in Paarl on 24 February.

Unique in concept it features the 16 member Fezeka Choir from Guguletu and a cast of phenomenally talented young singers from the heart of the town itself.

The show performs songs that are stories, myths and legends, from all walks of life, but most from Africa.

The audiences can expect original new versions of classics like Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry”, Earth, Wind and Fire’s “Fantasy”, Toto’s “Africa”, Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and many more like “Ipi Tombi”, “Mama Tembu’s Wedding”, “The Click Song” and “African Dream”.

Tickets at R200, which include light refreshments, sparkling wine, wine and mineral water can be obtained from Linda at Drakenstein Hospice at 021-872-4060.
