THE Drakenstein Heritage Foundation is opposed to the proposal to subdivide the Kleinplasie property at the top of Bosman Street, Paarl.

This subdivision has been applied for before on a number of occasions and it has been rejected for very good reasons.

1. It is located above High Level Road and no development is allowed there.

2. It will be a visual disaster on the mountainside viewed from any perspec­tive.

3. The neighbours are very much against it.

4. The owners have al­ready violated the authorisation by altering some buildings and using them for the incorrect purposes.
