Botanical Society meets

THE next meeting of the Winelands Branch of the Botanical Society will be held on Saturday at 15:00 at the clubhouse of Domaine Des Anges, Dirkie Uys Street, Franschhoek.
George van der Merwe, the Strategic Corporate Initiatives Manager of the Berg River Dam, will be giving a talk on progress of the project.
Emphasis will be given to the conservation measures being taken and the initiatives to train members of the local community in skills development.
To reach Domaine des Anges, turn left at De Villiers Street (after Pippin farm stall). Turn left at the second stop street, into Dirkie Uys Street. Pass the school on the left and proceed to the black wrought-iron gates.
