HOPE Africa, a social development arm of the Anglican Church in Southern Africa (ACSA), is giving parishes that are involved in outreach projects or programmes building bridges within their local communities, the opportunity to compete for a R50 000 prize.
To enter, a parish must send in the story of their community projects or programmes in not more than 1000 words (and pictures if available) by 29 February.
The story should profile their outreach projects or programmes and it should include the name of the project, the diocese, archdeaconry, parish where it’s located and the name and details of the contact person.
Stories will be evaluated on their creativity (innovativeness) and social impact like what development idea is the project addressing.
The entry should be submitted via email to hopeaward@hopeafrica.org.za, or by post to Hope Award, PO BOX 830, Cape Town, 8000.
Contact Maropeng Moholoa at 021-674-5111 or 082-713-3366 for enquiries.
