ONLY one week till CANSA Shavathon kicks off, and they need your help to gain even more support.
Tomorrow and Saturday South Africa sees the hugely successful CANSA Shavathon returning to malls and corporations.
Since its inception, Shavathon, sponsored by Nedbank and M-Net, has raised more than R15 million and the 2008 event promises to raise even more funds and awareness for the disease that affects one in four South Africans.
People from Paarl and surrounding areas can visit the Paarl Mall on Saturday from 08:00 till 15:00 to shave or spray for R50 donation.
By shaving your crowning glory or spraying your hair a multitude of colours, South Africans can help raise funds that will be used for youthorientated prevention, education and care programmes.
All participation donations will go to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA).
Corporates wanting to get involved can email corporates@shavesa.co.za.
