THE Bouckaert-Soenen Paarl League and Fun Ride and the Paarl Motors MTB event is set to take off on Sunday.
Cyclists can choose one of three routes, all starting at the Faure Street Stadium. The 115km event starts at 06:30. The route follows a loop to Wellington, Paardeberg and Stellenbosch, returning to Paarl via Helshoogte.
The 78km event starts at 07:45. The route cuts out the Paardeberg loop, but includes Stellenbosch and the Helshoogte climb. The 53km event starts at 08:15. The route goes round Paarl mountain, passes through Klapmuts and Simondium before joining the R45 back to Paarl.
