AMONGST all the negative incidents that we are so frequently bombarded with, I am happy to write about a positive incident that I experienced.
On Saturday 2 February at approximately 12:00, I was at a supermarket in Paarl South.
When I wanted to pay for various items at the counter, I discovered my wallet containing cash, credit cards, a driver’s licence and other cards was missing.
I searched for the wallet, but gave up hope and reported the loss to the police.
Shortly afterwards the police contacted me to inform me that my wallet had been found and handed in at the supermarket by a regular customer.
I received my wallet with everything in order, not a cent was missing.
I would like to convey my sincere thanks. I may not know who you are, but God knows and I believe that you will be truly blessed for your deed and honesty.
I would further like to thank the staff at Spar who assisted and contacted the police. Your employer can be very proud. You are a winning team.
It is incidents like these that renew our faith and hope.
