Gourmet and wine
2008-02-28
A MUST on the calendar for discerning food and wine connoisseurs is the first gourmet dinner of the year at the Grande Roche Hotel on Saturday 26 April. Grande Roche has become legendary for its hosting of top-notch culinary events at its award-winning restaurant, Bosman’s. Bosman’s Cellarmaster Mia Martensson, and executive chef Frank Zlomke, welcome the Sadie Family and Sequillo Cellars as their star attractions. The authoritative Eben Sadie has made a name for himself as a “winemaking guru”, now particularly regarded for his Columella and Paladius wines. Gourmet experiences at Bosman’s include an aperitif served from 19:00; and a five-course gourmet dinner accompanied by wines carefully selected by both the guest host and Cellarmaster. Coffee and petit fours complete the evening. The cost is R650 per person including all wines. Bookings can be made by phoning Christine Visagie at 021-863-5100 or by emailing reserve@granderoche.co.za.
