MORE than 45 pumpkin growers, who planted pumpkin seeds provided by Shoprite Checkers and the Boland Giant Pumpkin Growers Association in September, will at long last get the chance to show their pumpkins and compete for the title of Giant Pumpkin Champion to take place at Die Werf in Pniel on Saturday from 09:30.

The Giant Pumpkin Champion will walk away with R10 000.

The second and third places will each receive cash prizes to the value of R5 000 and R2 000, respectively.

This is a fun day for the whole family.
