Girls' High take trophy

THE equestrian teams of Paarl Girls’ High School were unstoppable at the annual interschools horseriding competition that was held at Evergreen Stables recently.
The open team of GHS won the trophy for the best-dressed team and were also the winners in the 90cm-100cm showjumping team event.
The intermediate team won their showjumping competition as well.
The school's pre-novice team also won the trophy for the best-dressed team while the novice team came first in the 50cm jumping event, thus ensuring that the riders of Girls’ High win four of the six trophies up for grabs.
The primary section was won by the riders of Courtrai Primary School.
Riders from La Rochelle, Paarl Gymnasium, Courtrai Primary, Hugenote Primary, Bridge House, Rhenish and Gene Louw competed.
