WHO is SA’s 2008 Enterprise of the Year? With prestige, publicity and prizes of more than R100 000 at stake, businesses around the country are once again invited to compete for the title of Enterprise of the Year. The competition serves to rai- se the overall profile of enterprises countrywide, and is sponsored by Old Mutual in conjunction with the AHI, Media24 Newspapers, Ontbytsake on Kyknet, Business Partners and Rapport. Through the competition Old Mutual aims to stimulate a healthy culture of competitiveness within the business sector, while lifting the overall level of service delivery in South Africa. The competition identifies and recognises businesses that are unique, that deliver outstanding service, and that make a notable contribution to job creation. Competition categories inclu- de Open (enterprises with an annual turnover of R15 million, or more) and Small Business (enterprises with an annual turnover of less than R15 million). The overall winner in each category will walk off with R25 000 in cash as well as the ‘Enterprise of the Year’ trophy and certificate.
