I thank you for publishing the article in connection with the dismal conditions on and around Main Road, Wellington.

The notorious house at 70 Main Road is an example of what can happen when absent owners are left unchecked.

This historical house has been turned into a squatter camp with no rent, no electricity, no water, and no refuge removal.

Main Road is appalling, with people being allowed to urinate, drink, and fight in public. Once they are done, they leave their mess for someone else to clean up.

This is embarrassing and I am worried if anybody cares.
