Budget discussed on roadshow

A ROADSHOW to discuss the draft municipal budget and Integrated Development Plan with the public, will be launched next week. The first meetings take place on Monday night at 19:00 in the Paarl Town Hall and the Wellington Town Hall. On Tuesday evening the community of Mbekweni is invited to a meeting in the community hall at 19:00. At the same time, there is a meeting for agriculture in the Wellington Town Hall. On Wednesday evening there are meetings in the Huguenot Community Hall (safety and security cluster), the Colibri Hall and the Fairyland Hall at 19:00. Further meetings are on 17 April (Huguenot Community Hall and Gouda Sports Hall), on 21 April (Safmarine Hall Wellington), 22 April (Hermon Primary, Paarl School of Skills Simondium and Paarl Town Hall/environmental cluster). On 23 April the meetings are at Windmeul Primary School, at the Huguenot Community Hall (social cluster) and Paarl Town Hall (economic cluster). The last meeting is on 24 April at 19:00 at the Saron VGK Church. * The Winelands district will review its draft IDP at the Huguenot community hall on Monday at 18:30.
