Speed bumps needed here

I LIVE on Orange Street in Paarl and I have noticed that in two places there have been markings made on the road to make speed bumps. I hope the municipality will soon have the funds to construct them. During the peak hours the speed at which some of the drivers pass by is definitely above the regular 60km allowed in a residential area. This obviously happens when schools are on holiday too, as it did over Easter weekend. It is a residential area and there are pedestrians crossing the road all the time. I hope the speed bumps are put in place before a serious accident happens. Resident
