BELLINGHAM has scooped gold at the prestigiuous Monde Selection International Wine Contest in Brussels with the Bellingham Fair Maiden 2007 and Bellingham Maverick Viognier 2006.
The prestigious competition is held under the supervision of the Belgian National Enforcement & Mediation Directorate General for the Federal Service Economy, part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The 2008 International Wine Contest of Monde Selection was open to wine producers, dealers, growers, distributors and importers and exporters.
“This is a really exciting development for Bellingham,” said a very happy winemaker Niël Groenewald.
