“THE blind will see and the lame will walk” reads the banner placed in every corner of our community. The pastor claims the above and that he “cures HIV and Aids”.
People came in droves with prospects that their long suffering will be a thing of the past. But it was not to be.
I observed with keen interest as hands were laid on and prayers were said.
The dreams of walking and seeing again were dashed as days went by without any miracles.
I am convinced that this is a money-making scheme as people are parting with their hard earned cash.
When are we going to learn that these people are nothing but conmen?
We have lost millions of people to HIV/Aids over the years, and for some pastor to falsely claim to cure this dreadful illness, is an insult to the infected and affected.
Why pick on such a destitute African community?
