Meet an Idol at the Mall

THE singer well known for finishing in the Top 3 of the first Idols, Melanie Lowe, will be making a much anticipated visit to Paarl Mall, for a performance in the Edgars Court area on Saturday at 13:00. Melanie’s new album Unspoken Truth has just been nominated for a SAMA (SA Music Award). In addition, she has two big hits currently on radio, one English and one Afrikaans! Her English song, Sweetest of Rhymes, is a huge hit on radio stations such as Kfm, and her Afrikaans song, As, is on RSG. The music videos of both songs are playing on TV. Last week Melanie performed at the Branderfees in Somerset West, and she recently performed at Courtrai Primary School in Paarl. Melanie has a broad appeal, both Afrikaans and English audiences, and does a wide range of songs, including her original songs written by her, as well as some popular covers. At Paarl Mall she will perform her hits. After the 30 minute performance she will be meeting the public and signing autographs.
