Annual Rugby Sevens tournament at Dal

YOUNG PEOPLES R.F.C’S annual sevens tournament will take place on Wednesday 30 April at 19:00 at the Dal Josaphat Sta- dium. Eight top clubs of the Paarl Region will compete for the R5000 prize money. Together with Peoples, the teams who will be parti- cipating are Rangers, Albions, Windmeul, Evergreens, Hillcrest, Lower Paarl and Allandale. Teams are urged to represent what is best for the tournament: good play, good spirit and good fun. The rugby at this tournament will be hard, clean and fun for all to watch. The gates open at 18:00 and the entrance fee is R5 for adults, R5 per car and R3 for children under 12. The action kicks off at 19:00 when Albions take on Hillcrest. At 19:20 Evergreens tackle Lower Paarl, followed by Rangers against Allandale at 19:40. At 20:00 Young Peoples will face Windmeul.
