TO celebrate the appointment of the first black Springbok coach, Young Gardens Rugby Football and its Old Boys’ Club will be presenting a Gala Dinner in the Paarl Town Hall for Peter de Villiers on 30 April. Young Gardens, celebrating their 60th anniversary this year, are more than just proud to have delivered a quality product such as de Villiers. The club would like to continue to improve systems, deliberate on the strategies and stand up to the challenges to deliver more people like him. This function creates the opportunity for clubs and stakeholders to form partnerships, networking on the challenges and opportunities of sport, social responsibilities and development, and standards, ethics and values.
