Dinner for two
2008-05-08
THE Cape Gourmet Festival’s Restaurant Week is back by popular demand with over forty fine dining restaurants, including some local ones, participating in the fabulous food season that is the Cape Gourmet Festival. And four lucky readers can win a meal for two at one of them. Local participating restaurants are Marc’s, Laborie and Noop in Paarl, and La Petite Ferme, Grande Provence and Dieu Donné in Franschhoek which present a special menu with matching wine from tomorrow to 18 May. Restaurant Week is an extension to The Good Food and Wine Show, South Africa’s largest food, wine and travel extravaganza. Participating restaurants have designed a delicious two-course gourmet lunch, for a set price starting from R75 or a sumptuous three-course gourmet dinner from R110; both menus include a glass of carefully paired wine. Each menu is specially devised to reflect the culture and style of each restaurant and will leave patrons’ mouths watering. Guests can also compliment the chef after their fabulous meal by voting for their favourite restaurant on the website www.gourmetsa.com. By voting they also stand to win two cases of international award-winning wine. Visit any of the restaurants listed as participating in Restaurant Week as advertised on www.gourmetsa.com from tomorrow until Sunday 18 May. For general Cape Gourmet Festival information, visit www.gourmetsa.com or call 084-565-0069. * Four lucky readers who email Paarl Post today will win lunch or dinner for two at Dieu Donné in Franschhoek. Just send your name and cell number and the name of the restaurant to edit@paarlpost.co.za
