PAARL will host the final stage of the Cycle to Survive Cancer Awareness cycle tour on 16 August later this year. This week sees the launch of the tour which will take place from 9 to16 August from PE to Cape Town.

The GVI Oncology staff will be embarking on the cycle tour in order to raise awareness for cancer in the community and aid in the fight against cancer.

The tour will consist of a group of 20 cyclists from GVI Oncology who will cycle en route from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town via Plettenberg Bay, George, Swellendam, Robertson and Paarl (16 August).

We would like to appeal to companies who would like to get involved to show their support by means of sponsorship or donations of any kind.

We would like to give the community a chance to get involved, says Erhardt Korf, general manager, GVI Oncology, in Bellville.

All donations and sponsorships will be used to fund the event and all funds raised will be donated to People Living With Cancer for the work which they are doing in the community
