MOUNTAIN-BIKE enthusiasts, leisure cyclists and spectators can look forward to an action-packed day of fun at the third Dirtopia Nine-to-Five Mountain-Bike Team Relay taking place at Delvera Farm on Monday 16 June.

Competitors’ endurance levels will be put to the test with entrants trying to finish as many 7km laps as possible in an eight hour time period.

The route is easy enough for riders across all levels and fast laps will ensure lots of activity in the transition area.

Riders can participate in three categories: solo, teams of two or teams of four.

It is not necessary for team members to ride in sequence and one team member can do as many consecutive laps as they like.

There should, however, not be more than a four lap difference between the rider with the most laps and the rider with the least number of laps at the end of the event. This event is fun for all ages and even novices.

There are also junior teams and mixed teams to take part in. Lots of prizes to be won as well.

For more information, visit www.dirtopia.co.za, email theteam@dirtopia.co.za or call the Dirtopia Trail Centre on 021-884-4752.
