Bastille Fest in Franschhoek

FRANSCHHOEK, the gastronomic capital of South Africa, celebrates its French Heritage with the traditional Bastille Festival on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July.
Fabulous food and wine presented by the well-known chefs of Franschhoek and the Vignerons de Franschhoek in the food and wine marquee, including cap classique and oyster cooking demonstrations.
Activities include the popular boules competition, pitch and putt, a barrel rolling contest and seven-a-side rugby on the Saturday.
There will be a “Break Out” party on Saturday night and music and entertainment by well-known Daniele Pascal.
