Brides take part in bridal competition

BRIDAL and student designers competitions, top designers and fashion shows are all part of the Bridal Showcase from 9 to 10 August at the Kleinplasie showgrounds in Worcester. Top designers like Kobus Dippenaar, Elbeth Gillis, Graham T Brown and Charlene Sauerman will take part in two fashion shows on 9 August. The 10:00 fashion show is a sit-down formal tea. Tickets are available at Audensberg Church and Peter van Dyk for R50. Call 082-890-2604. A Student Designer of the Year competition as well as a Bride and Groom of the Year competition are part of the Sunday program. Brides in the Western Cape stand a chance to win a second honeymoon.
