Art on postcards

CONTINUING the tradition from last year, Paarl art curator Wendy Roux presents “The Postcard Show II” group exhibition at Lourensford Wine Estate. Artists were again given total creative freedom - the only limitation being the postcard format. It is within these boundaries that great ideas were born, Wendy said, forcing individuals out of their comfort zones and creating new ones for others. All works are sold at R450 and this creates an opportunity for art to become more accessible and affordable. There are pieces on show by artists such as Theo Kleynhans, Chris Diedericks, Colijn Strydom, Michael Taylor, Henk Serfontein, Hannalie Taute, Corlie de Kock and many more. The exhibition, recently on display at Off the Wall Contemporary in Paarl, has moved to Lourensford outside Somserset West until 3 August.
