Women boxers wanted

THE Western Cape Department of Sport is eager to promote boxing amongst women in the province.
Boxing officials in the Boland and Western Province aim to attract and develop local talent by means of two clinics which will be held in Cape Town and Paarl soon.
A Western Cape women’s team will be in action against a team of Eastern Province on 30 July.
The SA Championships will take place in Bloemfontein from 24-26 August.
Boxers who qualify will also be able to compete internationally.
