TOURS are offered for those interested in the progress at the Green Point soccer stadium. The Green Point Stadium construction tour is an hour-long tour of 2010 fever with a guided walk on the stadium construction site. The tour includes an inspiring and funny performance, The Greensman, about the fascinating history of the Green Point Common, photographic exhibitions of soccer greats and a 3-D virtual tour of the finished 2010 Stadium. The tour is conducted on Saturdays at 10:00, the cost R100. There is also the Green Point Stadium visitor centre tour, a guided viewing of the stadium construction site from a three-storey high deck. This tour includes the theatre performance, The Greensman, a virtual tour of the finished 2010 stadium; soccer photographic exhibitions and a 2010 stadium architectural model. The cost is R40 (pensioners, students and children R20) for the tour on Monday to Thursday at 10:00 and 14:00, on Fridays at 12:00 and on Saturdays at 10:00 and 12:00.
