CAPE TOWN will host a fascinating conference and workshop aimed at increasing the Quality of Service in its Hospitality Industry this month.
The Gastronauts Food and Wine Guild, whose members are from the Hospitality Industry, is organising this Conference to be held at the Protea Hotel President in Bantry Bay on 24 and 25 July.
This Industry Conference offers a forum for the professional exchange of knowledge and skills related to service.
About one hundred and fifty employees directly involved in Service – in restaurants, hotels, guesthouses and catering – are expected to attend. Invitations have gone out to Middle Management, Supervisory Personnel and those directly involved in the Service Industry.
Topics will include success stories in hotels and restaurants, guest profiling, wine service, self-motivation and managing work performance and will be presented by well-known Industry Professionals.
The contributions of these speakers promise to enrich the programme through enhancing the diversity of perspectives and content.
The conference is proudly sponsored by the Gastronauts in order to enhance the Service Standards in the greater Cape Town area and attendance is free.
However applicants are requested to complete a form motivating their selection to attend.
The Protea Hotel President is also offering a special package for delegates to stay over.
