THE Luthando Frail Care Centre in Paarl East was highlighted in a recent article.
I would like to point out that the centre does not only care for HIV and TB patients, but for all terminally ill patients, including aged and chronically ill patients.
Patients can be referred from centres like hospitals, clinics, and hospices, as well as by private doctors.
The centre, which has a staff complement of 17 including nurses, home carers and general assistants, can take care of up to 12 patients at a time. Patients must provide their own medication.
