Cancer cycle tour

ON 16 August the staff of GVI Oncology, a cancer care practice based in Cape Town, will stop off at Paarl as part of their cycle tour to raise cancer awareness. The cycle tour coincides with ‘Cancer Awareness Month’ and ‘Cancer Survivors’ Day’ in August. The tour starts at Port Elizabeth and will pass through Jeffrey’s Bay, Plettenberg Bay, George, Riversdal, Swellendam, Robertson and Paarl (16 August). On 17 August they will arrive to a warm and inspiring crowd gathered in Cape Town at the Old Mutual’s business park in Pinelands to join in the ‘Cancer Survivors’ Day’ celebration.
