MEMBERS of the public are warned to be extremely cautious when leaving their vehicles unattended.

Especially in northern and central Paarl, vehicles are often broken into.

A spokesperson for the police said that this is often due to the fact that valuables are left in vehicles in full sight of criminals, or that cars are par- ked in secluded areas.

If any suspicious people are seen wandering through neighbourhoods, the public can contact Insp Hildegard Mackier at 082-850-9614.
