DINERS CLUB has announced the 2008 Best Winelist Awards as judged by an independent panel.

Local restaurants on the awards list are Bosman’s Restaurant at the Grande Roche Hotel and Marc’s in Paarl, as well as Le Quartier Francais in Franschhoek which received Diamond awards, with Bistro Allegro at Grande Roche winning Platinum and the Butcher’s Steakhouse at De Oude Paarl Hotel winning silver for its wine list.

The Best Winelist countrywide was scooped by the Cellars Honehort Hotel, flanked by Flavours at the Devon Valley Hotel who took the Best Platinum award.
