ON Saturday 13 September, a full day workshop to introduce novices to the alpaca and its wonderful fleece will be held. The workshop will take place at Inca Vale Farm, Wellington, from 09:00 till 16:30.

Learn how to process fibre to a finished garment. Members of the Cape Guild of Weavers will give tutelage on spinning of the carded fibre.

After lunch participants can try their hands at felting under the supervision of renowned felter, Karen Platte.

The cost of the workshop, including lunch and 300g of alpaca fibre, is R350. For information contact Gavin on 082-340-2650.
