THE well-known golfer and wine farmer, David Frost of the farm St Clement situated on the slopes of Paardeberg, has been sued for R2,2 million by the liquidators of the company Agricultural Innovations and Management Services (Aims), which was liquidated on 6 March 2007. Two years ago Frost loaned R1,6 million from Aims for the purchase of grapes, wine and grape juice for his wine business. Constant Wilsnach, the liquidator, said that Frost had not paid the monthly interest and had neglected to pay back the loan on 30 June 2007 as agreed.
