THE brilliant, young Italian pianist, Allesandro Taverna, can already boast a number of accolades that have been attributed to him in his young career and he is fast on his way to international fame. Allesandro will be performing at the La Motte Estate outside Franschhoek on Saturday 27 September at 19:00. His performance repertoire will include the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, Chopin’s Fourth Scherzo and the Argentinian Dances of Ginastera. The concert will be presented in La Motte’s historical cellar with its tranquil atmosphere and excellent acoustics. On arrival guests will be welcomed with a drink. The La Motte Classical Concert series, including this event, is a great opportunity for concertgoers and music aficionados to mingle with the artist while enjoying La Motte wines and a world-class performance.
