WINELOVERS in Cape Town once again honoured their favourites at this years RMB WineX, with Diemersfontein leading the way for red wine.

Their Pinotage 2007 took the honours as the best red wine on the show. The best white wine was the Hamilton Russell Chardonnay 2005.

Three other white wines of the Drakenstein region were also placed among the ten best wines on the show. They were Glen Carlou’s Chardonnay 2007, Haute Cabrière’s Chardonnay-Pinot Noir 2008 and Vrede en Lust’s Sauvignon Blanc 2008.
