THE Drakenstein Hospice has been serving the Drakenstein community for 14 years. They now look after over 250 patients a month and have planned many exciting projects.
They invite the community to join them as volunteers in planning and executing their vision.
They need receptionists, administrators, project managers, drivers, computer operators, caterers, day care volunteers and shop assistants.
A volunteer training course will be held in September as an introduction to Hospice and its ethos. The course is aimed at equipping volunteers with knowledge and experience about the functions of Hospice.
The price of the course is R150 for eight morning sessions over a period of a month.
