Vegetarian weekend

A VEGETARIAN weekend will take place in Wellington from Saturday to Sunday, starting with a market on the Onverwacht Wine Estate. Local and national producers of organic fruit and vegetables, organic, vegetarian and vegan wine producers and related organisations will be on the premises. Yoga classes next to the vineyards will take place during the day and local artists will have their artwork on display. Local participating restaurants will have special menus available with vegetarian dishes. Vegetarian cooking classes and demonstrations by chefs provide cooking tips. Saturday evening, a five course food and wine pairing will be presented by Chef Lu @ Onverwacht restaurant. A feast of vegan and vegetarian dishes will be paired with local wines.
