Arrested for murder

A MAN has been arrested a week after the body of another man was discovered on an open piece of land, north of Fairyland. Pedestrians came across the body of Chester Lamani (30), who had suffered multiple stab wounds late last Saturday afternoon. A week after the murder, a member of the public gave the police a tip-off about a fugitive in one of the homes in the area and Lunga Mnisi (24) was arrested in connection with the murder. The police wish to inform the public that any crime related information which is given through to them will be considered strictly confidential. * The body of an unknown man was discovered in the Berg River on Friday evening in Paarl North. A farm worker came across the body floating in shallow water on Paarlvallei farm. It is uncertain how the man died.
