Enjoy a summer jazz picnic

MUSIC, food and wine will be the theme at Backsberg Estate Cellars tomorrow from 18:30. Join them in their beautiful garden, choose a table under the oak trees or bring your blanket to spread out on the lawn. Live musicians will set the tone, so sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious summer platters paired with award-winning Backsberg wines. The music will be provided by jazz band Velvet Touch, featuring vocalist Lainey Baanzaier. Accompaniment is by Eddie Kirkwood on keyboard, UCT’s Mike Campbell on bass, and John McBeth on saxophone.
