Fashion at the lights

THIS year a brand new event will be hosted on the stage at the Festival of Lights. Talented young ladies and men from Paarl, Wellington, Saron and Gouda will model fashions by a local Couture Designer, Ali Adam. They will be on stage every evening of the festival at 19:00 to 19:30 in Wellington (28 November), Paarl (5 and 6 December), Saron (12 December) and Gouda (13 December). The aim of this event is to develop and capacitate the youth of Drakenstein by showcasing their talents and also to share skills and develop themselves. Ali Adam was born in Ghana and studied in Ghana. After his studies he relocated to Johannesburg and from there he went to Copenhagen. Ali now has a studio in Paarl
