Horse and Wine Festival

CHAMPION show-jumpers will be in action at the Nelson’s Creek Horse and Wine Festival outside Paarl on Saturday and Sunday. The country’s top event riders will compete in the South African Inter-provincial Eventing Championships, a thrilling equestrian competition which is at its most exciting on Sunday, when they put their courage to the test in the cross country jumping phase. Expect plenty of thrills and a few spills. There will also be entertainment for the whole family with art and craft stalls, wine tasting, a wine auction, quad-biking and mountain-biking amongst the attractions.
