THE first cricket side of Bridge House beat St Josephs (Cape Town) by 93 runs in their annual day/night match last Wednesday.

Bridge House batted first and scored 149 in their allotted 35 overs, with Mike Armstrong (38) Bridge House’s best batsman.

With captain Danie Terblanche (5/7) on song, Bridge House bowled St Josephs out for 56 runs to end their season unbeaten.

The u.15 Cricket team of Bridge House (122/5) played against Groendal on Thursday, beating them by 64 runs. Matthew du Toit (29*) was the best batsman. With Bridge House’s Matthew van Renen taking 3/14, Groendal could only manage 58 runs, for the u.15’s to finish their season unbeaten.
