* EXHIBITION. An art exhibition by artist Keith Calder, Cobus Haupt, David Jackson, Robert Leggat, Teresa Rabie and Stephen Rautenbach will be opened at The Gallery at Lourensford on Friday 14 November at 19:00. * GEDENKLESING. Die jaarlikse gedenklesing ter ere van wyle Huberte Rupert deur die Stellenbosse Kunsvereniging vind in die Sasol Kunsmuseum van die U.S. Woensdag 26 November om 17:30 plaas. Prof Andreas van Wyk lewer die lesing “Stellenbosch en die kunste: Huberte Rupert se versiendheid".

* CONCERT. On Saturday 29 November 20:00 fans of the Big Band and Swing era can ready themselves for the Jonny Cooper Big Band’s Swing Safari concert at the GrandWest Arena, under the baton of Jonny Cooper himself. The show captures the nostalgia and unique energy of the Big Band era that has enjoyed renewed popularity since the release of swing hits recorded by stars such as Robbie Williams, Michael Buble and Harry Connick Junior. * TAALMONUMENT. Die Taalmonument op Paarlberg sal gedurende die somerseisoen, tot 30 April, daagliks vanaf 08:00 tot 20:00 oop wees vir besoekers. * BOERE-ORKES REÜNIE. Die gewilde Stellenbosch Boere-orkes van oom Pietie le Roux gaan reünie hou. Dié orkes het reeds in 1929 ontstaan en vir dekades gereeld gehore vermaak met hul boeremusiek. Alle oorlewende lede van hierdie orkes word uitgenooi om die glorie van weleer saam te herleef en weer herinneringe uit te ruil. Dié saamtrek word gehou op 27 Maart in die Sasol-kuns­museum te Ryneveldstraat. Almal wat lede was van die orkes word gevra om die organiseerder, Dirk Geldenhuys, by 021-854-6515 te skakel om hul deelname te bevestig of vir meer inligting.
