At the 2009 Best Of Wine Tourism awards, Sean Grange from Mont Rochelle Hotel in Franschhoek, received the award for the best local restaurant and accommodation venue for 2008. Members of the international wine tourism fraternity and many of the Cape’s leading producers attended the gala evening at Vergelegen at which the organisers of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network announced the winners.
