Course for NGOs
2005-07-28
ON 20 July, the Shuttleworth Foundation presented its first workshop of 2005 entitled “How to Conduct Program Evaluations.” It proved to be an enormous success and was heavily oversubscribed. As a result, another workshop on the same topic will be held on 4 August.
Evaluation is a critical activity for every NGO. Not only does evaluation help an organisation to understand, verify and improve its programs, but it also produces data that can be used in public relations, marketing, and proposal writing.
The workshop will address the key components of comprehensive program evaluation, with a focus on designing, implementing and analysing impact evaluations.
This one-day workshop is aimed particularly at organisations involved in Maths, Science, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MSET) as part of the school curriculum. Participation costs R500 and the closing date for registration is the 2nd of August. Seats are limited.
