Wineland health highlighted

AN international congress on health and wine, Vindaba 2005, will be held by SASEV at Spier from 13 to 16 September.
The conference will cover a wide range of topics, from phenolics and social responsibility to cardiology and endocrinology concerning the role of wine, a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The new allergen legislation that will come into effect internationally and in South Africa will be discussed, together with the formation and prevention of compounds such as histamine and ochtratoxin A in wines.
