Holiday program for the kids

THE libraries in the Drakenstein have a variety of holiday programs for kids during the school holidays. Drakenstein Library in Paarl East will present a holiday program from 15 to 19 December. On 15 December at 10:30 the movie “Kung Fu Panda” will be screened. On 17 December at 14:00 children aged 10 to 13 can learn to make their own Christmas box, while the younger children will learn to make Christmas cards.
On 18 December at 14:00 there will be a treasure hunt for children aged 8 to 12. On 19 December at 10:30 children of all ages can come and enjoy the fun. * The library will be closed from 8 to 13 December for stock-taking, and on 16 December, due to the public holiday. Children are invited to join in the holiday programme at the library in Van Wyk’s Vlei, Wellington every week day until 23 December. There will be exciting activities including making a photo frame, wishing wheel and sugar ornaments for the Christmas tree. Each day’s activities will be a surprise, written in a link of a chain and each morning the library will open one link.
