Athletics season kicks off with coaching workshop

MORE than 1000 athletes, teachers, coaches and parents will gather on Saturday in Mal-mesbury in an event that traditionally indicates the start of the new athletics season. On the premises of Swartland High School some of the best coaches in South Africa will be available to give guidance and assistance to youth and junior athletes in the Boland, as well as their coaches/parents. The workshop will take on the form of practical sessions under the guidance of top coaches where athletes, teachers, coaches and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions.
